Field Day 2012

Who: The Northeast GA Amateur Radio Club and the Athens Radio Club and anyone else who would like to drop by and join in the fun.

What: Field Day is easily the most popular event of the year in ham radio circles. We set up radio stations in just a few hours and then spend 24 hours making as many contacts as we can with other hams around the nation.

When: June 23rd and 24th

Why: Part disaster drill, part social event, part contest, all fun! It’s challenging and we learn a lot.
