President asked for committee reports:

Treasurer Report: Bank balances: General Fund $302.24 Repeater Fund $383.35 Interest earned .06 cents

2015 members paid 14 including new members Ken and Chuck. 2015 Corporation filing was done

Repeater:   Jim has worked on the repeater to determine why there is no backup power. System is up and working.  The power is through Commerce Power. Jim called them and another member called ATT to inquire as to why the power was off. No answer. We still need a backup power source and alert board. Our 15 year agreement ends next year. Cable to run up the tower is very costly if we have to replace it. Bob will ask about alternative locations.

ARES: Bob Herrin reported that the Formidable Footprint exercise went fairly well last Sat. Trailer training for club to be in November. We will have an exercise using this trailer.

Public Service: Bob reports that there is a need on 4/11 for UGA Game Day along side the Red Cross. We will set up a station to work the GA QSO party. Also in May UGA need us to assist with the graduation.

Skywarn:   Dick reports that we are now in the midst of the tornado season. Report all storms seen on a net on our repeater. If no net start one. Hail reports  go online. There is online training for Skywarn.

No Old Business

New Business:  A committee was formed consisting of Jim, Chuck. David and Dick to investigate the  need for Power source for our repeater. They will meet and report back to group. Ga QSO Party: Dick suggested we meet Sunday at Victoria Bryant Park in Franklin county. Bring your own food and drink.

Gary was asked to include the PO Box high up on the web page and state QSL to that PO Box. Club Call is NE4GA

Insurance for our club radio is something we may need. Cheap through ARRL. Dr Tiller will look into this. A motion was made by Darlene and 2nd by Chip that we should look buy this at $1.30 per $100 of value

Jim made a motion to buy a new CW key. Bob Herrin 2nd. Approved up to $100.
